Stephanie Jarvis is in her third year as Associate Commissioner for Compliance and Legal Affairs with the Horizon League office after previously serving as Assistant Commissioner for Compliance and Legal Affairs.
Jarvis, who joined the League in 1999 as Director of Compliance handles all legal and compliance issues for the league and serves as the advisor to the Horizon League's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. She also is the sport administrator for women's soccer, men's and women's swimming and diving, tennis, and outdoor track and field.
Prior to joining the Horizon League staff, Jarvis worked in the compliance office at the University of Cincinnati from 1997-99, while at the same time attending law school. While working at Cincinnati, she provided rules interpretations, monitored student-athlete eligibility, and performed day-to-day compliance duties.
Jarvis received a bachelor's degree in French language and literature from Northwestern University in 1996, prior to earning a law degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1999. She is licensed to practice law in Ohio and Indiana.
A native of Dayton, Ohio, she resides in Indianapolis.
